Richard became pastor at The King’s Church in 2004. He is married to Louise and they have two daughters. Richard loves teaching the big narrative story of redemption found in the bible. As well as pastoring the church Richard is a professional tuba and sousaphone player. He is currently studying for a Masters in Spiritual Formation at Waverley Abbey.

In his spare time Richard can often be found in the Surrey Hills on his bike, he also enjoys nerdy theological podcasts and books, and has yet to turn down an invitation to a good meal.
