Our Christians Against Poverty debt centre is going really well. Over the last year we have helped numerous families and individuals in our local area on a journey out of debt on a weekly basis. We’ve heard some heart wrenching stories and met some incredible people, and it’s been a privilege and blessing to be able to help these people find real ways out of debt and into freedom.
You may or may not know that it costs us as a church to run a CAP debt centre. We’re a relatively small church and so our CAP debt centre takes up a reasonable portion of our budget. In an effort to raise some funds for the centre Daniel (our centre manager), Richard and Chris have signed up to ride the first leg of the London Revolution on 12th May. This is a 100 mile cycle ride from Stratford in North London to Windsor via Croydon and few Surrey hills. To make the pain worth while please consider sponsoring them as they raise funds to keep our CAP ministry up and running. You can sponsor them online by clicking here. You might also want to support them on the day by cheering them as they go by. The route passes the ‘top shops’ in Row Town – bring a picnic (and hopefully not an umbrella!)
